Design Analysis What is Design Analysis? Robert Leigh's Design Analysis is a methodology based on what has slowly been applied to the engineering and manufacturing fields where it has become apparent that a planned understanding of the product creation process has many key benefits. - Reduction in post-building changes and upgrades (& the costs!) - Analysis of a design/idea leads to documentation and understanding of decisions and increases traceability and reduces wasted investment. - We can capture and reuse knowledge, user experiences and build on your existing skills. - Capture of design knowledge enables retention of in-house expertise and results in a greater understanding of your own organisation. So Where Does Robert Leigh Come In? Design Analysis is one of our three cornerstone beliefs and that means that we always focus on marrying your knowledge, the end-user with the design team. Looking at the traditional I.T design path (Figure A). We ask 'why wait until you've built the site, risked the investment to do the assessment?'. At Robert Leigh we make the change before we start!
