At Robert Leigh we've found that each of our projects is completely different; we cannot standardise the process as our customers do not have standardised businesses. Some firms know precisely the content and marketing presentation that they want, but require in-depth technical expertise to execute it, whereas other firms just want advice and training on the technology with a very simple site as part of the package.

This is a site designed for a niche business with export customers worldwide. The Internet was ideal for such a business in that for a small investment it could maintain contact across the world and build on a customer base established over 20 years.
You can see that they wanted a simple site to give them a web presence and to allow them time to gain experience of this new business channel. Robert Leigh specifically developed a modular site, which would enable them to avoid later upgrading by keeping the site in sections that could easily allow further pages to be added without having to completely redesign the site.

This site required an Internet presence, onsite training and consultation on the marketing and content of the site. WLC is a small business that wanted advice on the entire development cycle, from the initial site graphics to the type of content. Robert Leigh designed this site through a process of continuous consultation with the client where we examined the business history, ethos and future plans for the firm. You can see that the site is designed to reflect the classic look of the British car through the use of racing green and cream backgrounds. All the colours are designed to be web safe and coded for faster loading.

This site contains over 180 pages and 500 images optimised for faster loading, although you'd never know it due to the modular set-up designed to allow continuous expansion and content management. The club wanted a complete solution of hosting, design, maintenance and content management. They felt that they wanted the entire site handled externally with development as archives where made available, images restored and converted into electronic format.

This is a site designed to offer a photo album service. Robert Leigh built a site that allowed for different download speeds and yet kept the quality of the pictures. Robert Leigh kept the coding simple for future development and the pictures were optimised to take into account different browsers, modem speed and even different types of monitor used by viewers.
